For anyone considering this dive, the main reason to go is the scenery around the Bodrum Peninsula. Even in early February, the water was very clear and the color gradients from light turquoise near the boat to deep blue further out were striking. Our small group of friends spent a lot of time just leaning on the rail, watching the rocky coastline and small coves go by. The instructors gave a solid safety briefing in clear English and the equipment looked well maintained. Underwater visibility was good, with patches of seagrass, rocks and small schools of fish drifting past. Lunch on the boat was fine but nothing special, and there was a bit of waiting between dives while other groups went in. Still, the calm winter light, the quiet bays and the overall organization made the day feel very well spent.
