There was a bit of waiting while jeeps were organized at the start, yet overall the social atmosphere made the day feel very relaxed and engaging.
Wow. Went solo and still never felt alone because the guide kept talking to everyone, cracking small jokes and explaining the villages and Marmaris National Park in very clear English. He even warned us where the path near Turgut Waterfall was slippery in winter. Walking across Jesus Beach in the cool wind was fun. Only minus: a bit of waiting around while they organized the jeeps at the start, but after that the day flowed really well.

Unexpected. Days later, what stays with me is the quiet rhythm of the boat gliding along the Dalyan River with our small group spread out on the deck, watching the reed beds slide past. The guide pointed out the Lycian rock tombs as we drifted by, which felt almost otherworldly in the soft spring light. The bus ride from Marmaris was a bit long and the return felt crowded, but the slow pace between stops and the contrast between the river, the mud baths, and Turtle Beach made the whole journey oddly soothing.
Our guide Murat kept the day running very smoothly, which mattered as it’s a fair journey from Marmaris in winter traffic. Pick-up was exactly on time and the coach was comfortable enough for our small group of friends. Transfers onto the Dalyan river boat were straightforward, and we had clear timings for the mud baths and Turtle Beach. There was a bit of hanging around after lunch while other groups assembled, but nothing drastic. Overall, very well organised and easy-going, even with the cooler weather.
