Future travellers should know the transfers were punctual and the boat ride itself was wonderfully calm, especially between the smaller islands. Plenty of time for swimming, though lunch felt a bit basic for a full autumn day out.

The first thing that stood out was how smoothly the hotel pick-up was handled, which set a relaxed tone for the day with my partner. Even in February it was cool enough that a light jacket was useful on deck, but the sun came through nicely once we got closer to the islands. The simple grilled chicken lunch with pasta and salad was better than expected, and eating it while moored near Tersane Island was a quiet highlight. Drinks were extra, as noted, and the queue at the bar got a bit slow after the first swim stop. Still, there was plenty of time to swim and just watch the coast slip by, and the crew kept everything calm and organised without fuss.

Went in expecting a fairly standard boat trip, but the whole day felt more unhurried and peaceful than I’d imagined. Our small group of friends could actually stretch out on deck, dipping in and out of the water at each stop without feeling rushed. Tersane Island was a favourite, especially the quiet bay where the water was so clear you could see the anchor on the seabed. Lunch was simple but fresh, and the crew kept things relaxed rather than constantly on the microphone. Only slight downside was a bit of waiting during the hotel transfers at the end, standing around in the heat, but overall the easy pace and calm atmosphere really stayed with me afterwards.

The moment the boat pulled into the quiet bay near Tersane Island, with the low autumn sun catching the water, I realised this day had already exceeded what I’d pictured from the brochure. Travelling as part of a larger group, there was still plenty of space on deck to stretch out between swim stops. The sea was cooler than in summer but perfectly fine once you were in, and the water was clear enough to see fish around your feet. Lunch on board was simple but fresh and filling, and the hotel transfer made the whole thing very straightforward. We did have a short wait at the harbour before departure, but it was a small trade-off for such a relaxed day on the water.

Our guide Ali pointed out the first photo spot before we had even left Fethiye harbour, which set the tone for the day. Travelling with a larger group, there was still plenty of space on deck to move around with the camera and chase the light. Tersane Island in the soft autumn sun was brilliant for wide shots of the old ruins against the clear water. The best moment was the late afternoon stop, when the light turned golden and the sea went glassy calm. Lunch was straightforward but decent; drinks on board were a bit pricey, though clearly stated. Transfers were on time, and the whole day felt unhurried, with lots of chances to swim or just sit quietly and frame photos.

What really stays with me is everyone quietly spreading out on the upper deck as we left Fethiye harbour, strangers at first, then slowly chatting over the sea breeze. I went with a close friend and the mixed group – families, couples, a few solo travellers – gave the day a relaxed, sociable feel without being rowdy. Swimming stops near Tersane Island were long enough that people actually talked, shared snorkels, and took photos for each other. Lunch on board was fairly simple but decent, and the crew kept things organised without fuss. Only slight downside was a bit of queuing to get back on the boat after one of the bays, but overall it was a very easygoing summer day out with good company.

Booked this last minute while in Fethiye with my parents, and it turned into a very calm spring day on the water. The hotel pickup made things easy for them, and the light over Tersane Island in the late afternoon was perfect for photos, with the masts and ruins outlined against the sky. There was a bit of waiting around at the harbour before departure and the lunch was fairly basic, but the swimming stops and clear views across the islands more than made up for it.

Went in with fairly modest expectations about the organisation, but this day was run very smoothly. Pickup from our Fethiye hotel was right on the stated time, and the coach was more comfortable than I’d assumed for an autumn day of driving. The change from coach to the Dalyan river boat was straightforward, with the guide clearly explaining timings so no one was left guessing. Having set times for the mud baths and then Iztuzu Beach meant the day never felt rushed, even with a larger group. The only downside was a slightly long wait while people bought drinks before we left the beach, but overall the logistics made it an easy, relaxed day out.

The first thing that hit us stepping onto the coach was the soft whirr of the air conditioning against the heat outside – such a relief on a July day. My friend and I actually enjoyed the journey itself just as much as the stops. The drive from Fethiye wound through pine-covered hills, and the guide pointed out little villages and explained the history behind the rock tombs we later saw from the Dalyan river boat. Cruising along the river with the engine humming quietly and the reeds brushing past was incredibly relaxing. The transfer times were reasonable, though the coach felt a bit full on the way back. Still, everything ran on time, and being picked up and dropped back at the hotel made the whole day feel effortless.

Warm air, the low hum of the boat engine, and the smell of the river reeds set the tone for the day. Went solo and spent most of the time chasing the light for photos, and this trip really delivered. The best shots were from the Dalyan river, with the rock tombs catching the late afternoon sun, and later on Iztuzu Beach where the sky turned soft pink over the flat, empty sand. The mud baths were good fun, if a bit crowded, so there was some waiting around. Still, for photography and golden-hour views, this was exactly what I was after.

Our guide Ali set the tone straight away with clear info on what was included and what would cost extra, which I really appreciated. Transfers from Fethiye, the river boat, and the mud baths were all covered in the price, so there were no surprises apart from drinks and small fees. The river cruise past the rock tombs felt like very good value on its own, and the time at Iztuzu Beach was generous. Lunch was fine but quite basic. For a full summer day out with transport and a guide, it worked out as money well spent for me and my partner.

Warm pine-scented air and the soft thud of the boat against the Dalyan River are what linger most a few days on. The slow glide past the rock tombs, with the guide quietly pointing out details, felt almost surreal, and Iztuzu Beach was wide, calm and wonderfully undeveloped. The only downside was the coach feeling a bit full on the way back, but the views along the lake and river more than made up for it.

Joined this boat trip with my wife and two children in late January and found it very good value for money overall. The hotel pickup was on time, the transfer was short, and having lunch and soft drinks included meant we barely spent anything extra on board. The crew kept the tea and juices topped up and there were several relaxed swimming stops, even if the water was far too cold for more than a quick dip in winter. The bays near Paradise Island were quiet and peaceful at this time of year. Lunch was fairly basic but tasty and filling. The only downside was a bit of waiting around before departure while everyone was checked in, but once we set off the day moved at a nice, unhurried pace.

The moment that stuck with me was drifting past Paradise Island with a plastic cup of cold lemonade, feet still wet from the last swim stop. For what we paid, the day was very good value: hotel pickup and drop-off were on time, lunch was included and decent, and the soft drinks kept coming without anyone making a fuss about it. There were several chances to swim in clear water, including near a cave, and plenty of space on the upper deck for sunbathing. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud at times, but it never spoiled the day.

Expected a simple boat ride, but the crew’s commentary really made the bays and Phosphorus Cave come alive for my parents. Clear English, light humour, patient with questions. Lunch was fine, just a bit basic.

Went in expecting a basic boat outing, came back absolutely buzzing. Kids loved jumping in at Paradise Island and Aquarium Bay, drinks really were unlimited. Lunch was simple but fresh, crew genuinely friendly.
